Surely you don’t know it yet but you have seen this flower at some point in your life. Its scientific name is Fuchsia magellanica.
This beautiful flower is part of my childhood, in my grandparents’ village every summer it bloomed in the garden. My cousins and I used to play wearing them as earrings because in Spanish this flower is known as “Earrings of the Queen”.
This Golden Queen Earrings are inspired by my love for flowers and memories from my childhood.
The flower is commonly known as the hummingbird fuchsia or hardy fuchsia. Although its colors commonly combine red with fuchsia or purple, there are two very rare varieties that have white flowers, so I decided to use white pearls as if they were the petals of the flower. The golden color was chosen because it is a characteristic element of royalty.
Since they are earrings of the Queen, combining the gold color with white seemed the best choice.
This Golden Queen Earrings are very light, the metal leafs are thin and hardless.
Metal alloy and artificial pearls.
